====== Beta Platform ====== VoIP.co.uk have developed their entire SIP platform in-house: all elements within our network other than our PSTN gateways use our own SIP stack, SBCs, proxies, rating B2BUAs, and UA services all use our SIP stack. As we're constantly developing the stack, as well as evolving the platform itself, we make available the latest development version of our SIP platform, and invite interested customers to connect to the platform and feed back to us any problems experienced. To connect to the beta platform please reconfigure your VoIP device to use the following settings: * beta.voip.co.uk UDP port 5060 for registrar, proxy and outbound proxy * SIP usernames / passwords remain unchanged. Current caveats of the beta suite are as follows: * Calls are not supported between proxy.voip.co.uk and beta.voip.co.uk. * Calls to the PSTN and Voicemail are however operational. Any incoming DDIs that have at least one SIP account target registered on the beta platform will be sent via the beta plaform rather than proxy.voip.co.uk. Please be aware of this if you register on both platforms. Please note we cannot guarantee the availability of the beta platform. Customers connecting to beta.voip.co.uk who wish to report an issue are requested to email beta@voip.co.uk. We will read all the incoming emails but cannot guarantee a reply. ===== Changelog ===== ==== 2007-11-12 ==== * Basic [[sip:gruu|GRUU]] support in the registrar and proxy now that draft-15 has been submitted to the RFC editor. * Registrar now correctly supports unregistering bindings ==== 2007-10-24 ==== * Emergency calls are now supported to 999 and 112. Please note however that as this is a beta platform, we can make no guarantees of it's availibility, and as such should not be relied upon. * There is now support for non e.164 numbers, which means 118xxx works. Users that prefer to use a standards based approach to dialing can take a look at the [[beta:dialplan]] page, which contains information on request URI's accepted by us.
